While GliderTimer is primarily a complementary tool to fully manage a small round training competition, GliderTimer-PRO is the world's first management system that can fully and comprehensively manage an F5J competition. GliderTimer-PRO closes the gap between the lap recording by GliderKeeper and GliderTimer Mini and the competition evaluation software. GliderTimer (mini) and GliderKeeper automate the timing and uploading of results. So transmission errors, delays or distracted timekeepers are a thing of the past! In addition, GliderTimer-PRO now ensures that the recorded results are loaded directly into GliderScore ©, where they can perform all further analysis.
This eliminates the need to have a timekeeper present for each pilot.
How it works:
Physically, the GliderTimer-PRO is an extension dongle of the GliderTimer (mini). It also has an MP3 player with a mini-jack output for sound. In addition, there are connections for the display panel, to connect a larger battery and a DC power supply.
Using the competitor's GliderKeeper ID, prepare your competition in GliderScore.
Generate the eScore competition files.
Upload these files to the GliderTimer you expect to use.
Connect the GliderTimer- PRO to the control panel and connect it to the audio and timer panel inputs.
Start the competition.
Collect flight data from the GliderKeepers automatically using a GliderTimer.
At the end of each round, using an internet-enabled router (your cell phone hotspot will do), transfer the results to GliderScore's eScore contest.
Publish or print the results from GliderScore.
