The Vantage is a F3F competition model
No one can describe its characteristics as well as the designer himself. Therefore we let Mario Perner have his say here directly:
"The VANTAGE is designed as a pure competition model especially for the F3F class. The goal of the development was to offer the competition pilot an "advantage" over the competition especially in medium to weak weather conditions. It is intended to be a useful addition to a competition pilot's fleet, not a replacement. Following the current trend, the VANTAGE is therefore not necessarily designed as a classic all-rounder, but rather as a specialist for specific conditions. But it is precisely this specialization that makes the VANTAGE so interesting for the ambitious hobby pilot. Because let's be honest: How often do you stand on a slope or on the coast and really have THE hammer conditions for world record flights?
The development of the model was based on numerous experiences and feedback from some of the best competition pilots in the F3F class. Countless competition flights were also analyzed. This made it possible to set specific accents (fuselage design, aspect ratio, ...) and to develop completely new airfoils for the wing. Special attention was paid to excellent performance in the low and medium lift range, without having to accept significant losses in the right speed flight."
